The date has been set for No Vacancy 2009. It will be held in Sydney on Thursday, March 19. As ever the central themes will be Distribution, Innovation, Technology. It will be a great day featuring industry leaders, panels, case studies, presentations and debate. There may even be a touch of controversy with hard questions asked - and answered. Over the past two years No Vacancy has established a strong reputation and for dynamic programming and great networking. Around 250 delegates attended the 2008 event. Topics included online distribution, consumer trends, channel and yield management, carbon offsetting, star ratings, modern marketing tactics, pricing, social media strategies and plenty more. Mark Frawley was the co-founder of the BreakFree Resorts and Holidays which debuted on the ASX in September 2002. Following the merger of BreakFree Ltd and MFS in 2005 Mark assumed the role of CEO of Stella Hospitality Group until February 2006. As CEO, he was responsible for the operational and acquisition strategy of the group. From early 2006 Mark has been dedicated to the launch and development of the Roamfree Group. Roamfree is principally an infrastructure business for the Accommodation industry. The Roamfree infrastructure has been designed and acquired around moving on line real time room availability to as many distribution points as possible. This ensures Accommodation Providers and Resellers can obtain the maximum number of bookings with the minimum amount of effort. With a degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting from Monash University Mark has been responsible for the management and financial operations of various management rights properties since 1985. Mark has extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry spanning a period of more than twenty years. |
